The school is living up to its name, mission and the standard already attained. In all classes from JSS 1 to SSS 3, great effort was made to ensure that the scheme of work for the session was covered and the students have excellent grip on various topics taught. The tripple efforts of parents, teachers and students could be seen in the improved academic performance of each child. Also our students in JSS 3 and SSS 3 were successfully registered for and participated in all the appropriate external standard examinations.

In the UTME (JAMB), we achieved 97.3% success as 36 out of 37 registered candidates from the school achieved university cut-off mark this year. At present, as we await the release of the result of other examinations with high hope. We will continue to maintain high quality teaching and learning process in a serene and conducive academic environment where each child is loved, cared for and valued.

Co-curriculum:We have continued to maintain functional academic, social, uniform and non – uniform clubs and societies

We have continued to maintain functional academic, social, uniform and non – uniform clubs and societies. This year, we took part in some selected inter-school competitions and won prizes as listed below.

1.         1st position in several debate competitions for both senior and junior school categories.

2.         1st position in ICT Quiz competition organized by NYSC for schools in Abeokuta.

3.         Quiz competition held/organised at Folarin Dalley School for all secondary school in Abeokuta and its environs

            b.         1st position English

            c.         1st position overall

4.         2016 Tobby Emmanuel Foundation mathematics competition         -           2nd position

5.         Children in Art Talent Hunt 2016

            a.         Drawing – 1st Position Junior category

            b.         Mixed Media – 1st and 3rd position senior category

6.         Wole Soyinka International Cultural Exchange Essay Competition – we represented Ogun State.

7.         Our male basketball team reached semi finals in 2016 Milo basketball tournament in Ogun State.


WASSCE (WAEC):Our candidates for this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination have been successfully registered and efforts are on top gear to ensure that our students are properly prepared. We also solicit for your support and prayers.

BECE: We hereby remind parents of students in JSS 3 that registration for 2016 Basic Education Certificate Examination is being concluded. 

One of the focal points in Mercyland International Schools is the encouragement of co-curricular activities. 

On the 4th of March, 2016 the school held her Cultural Day Celebration with the Theme "Our Culture Our Heritage".

It was a day the entire Mercyland family, Parents inclusive appeared in cultural attires. The events featured different activities such as; Cultural dances from various tribes in Nigeria and India, Display of Cultural attires, Ewi, local wrestling, Riddles and jokes, presentation of different local dishes by our darling parents.

The peak of the event was the Indian community presentations. They presented different types of Indian dishes and dances.


CO-CURICULAR ACTIVITIES: Our JET literary and debating teams have continued to win prizes for the school. We took part in debate and quiz competitions and won
