Meet The Chairman
Olootu Abel Gbolahan Ogooluwa BANKOLE attended Anglican Primary School, Ibogun Odejimi and UNA Primary School,Adenrele Ifo before proceeding to Ibogun Secondary Modern School, Egbeda in 1961 as a pioneering student.
Chief A.G.O Bankole attended Yaba Technical College and the prestigious University of Lagos,Akoka where he obtained a BSc Hons degree in Business Administration through self sponsorship, Ogooluwa Bankole joined the Imperial Chemical Industries PLC now CAPL at Ikeja in 1967 as Colour Matcher and Laboratory Assistant. He received a technical training at I.C.I Paint Factory in Slough Stowmarket, England in 1969.
He rose to the position of a Plant Production Superintendent in charge of Colour and Control Laboratory.
He attended technical courses in Colour and Pigments at Ciba Geigy Laboratory in Basle Switzerland and a course in Polymer and Adhesives at Polytechnic of North London now London Metropolitan University, Holloway.
A successful businessman, he established Premier Paints PLC, the first indigenous paints company to be quoted on the Nigeria Stock Exchange since 1995. His passion for education made him to establish Mercyland International Schools, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria with his wife, Dr(Mrs) Anuoluwapo Bankole in 1994.
Chief Bankole belongs to a number of societies and professional organization and received several awards. He was a past President of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) Ogun State Branch and Vice- Chairman, Abeokuta Chamber of Commerce. A past President of Abeokuta Sports Club.
Chief Ogooluwa Bankole is a High Chief of Egbaland and a member of Ogun State Council of Elders.
