The school has boarding facilities for both boys and girls. Our boarding facilities are excellent and within very conducive atmosphere for learning and living. Apart from the housemaster who lives with the boarders, there are house assistants for each room.
The house assistants live in the same room with the children under their care. The school keeps full -time dry-cleaners to assist the students with their laundry.
Team work or the ability to work productively and harmoniously with others is very important in our world today. Special thanks to the parents, teachers and children who worked so tirelessly together on various programmes and class projects - The Class captain's debate teams, Fine Arts Exhibition Team, etc....just to mention a few!
After School Programme: Our After School Programme commenced on January as promised by the school and the number of participants shows that it is well received by the parents. The aim of the programme is to meaningfully engage the students in a safe environment while parents go about their individual businesses/work. Lunch is equally served and optional skill acquisition is integrated.

For 2018 Children’s Day Celebration, the National Gallery of Art invited entries for art work competition. Our students submitted their art works and won the following prizes:

2018 BECE: Registration process for 2018 Basic Certificate Examination has started. Each JSS3 student is therefore required to pay a mandatory sum of ₦20,000.00 Twenty thousand naira only) which covers registration fees and logistics. Hostel Party:A social night was organized by the school for our students/pupils in the hostel on Saturday 10th Feb, 2018. The students enjoyed every bit of the night. We are thankful to our parents who created time to add colour to the programme.

Olootu Abel Ogooluwa Bankole was born of 1st November, 1948 at Ibogun Akiode village. A frontline industrialist in Ogun state, Olootu A.G.O. Bankole attended Anglican Primary School Ibogun Odejimi later UNA Primary school Adenrele Ifo before proceeding to Ibogun secondary school Egbeda in 1961 as a pioneering student. He later attended Yaba Technical College and the prestigious University of Lagos where he obtained a Bsc (Hons) degree in Business Administration through self-sponsorship.
Ogooluwa Bankole, a widely travelled man was privileged to have both technical and academic education at the Imperial Chemical Industries, Slough in England (Paints Technology). He attended Polytechnic of North London now London Metropolitan University, Holloway, Ciba Geizy laboratory Basel Switzerland where he bagged Diploma in Polymer and Adhesive and also Diploma in Pigment and Colours.
A successful businessman, he established Premier Paints PLC the first Indigenous paints company to be quoted on the Nigeria Stock Exchange since 1994.
His passion for education made him to establish Mercyland International Schools with his wife, Dr (Mrs) Anuoluwapo Bankole in 1994.
Olootu belongs to a number of societies and professional organizations and received several awards.
Patrons of many social clubs and societies, Olootu A.G.O. Bankole is the Agunloye of Gbagura, Abeokuta. Asiwaju Babalaje of Egbaland, Olootu Owu, Abeokuta, Babalaje of Ifo and Balogun of Ibogun land.
He is happily married with Children.
It is over 20years that a shrewd businessman and his erudite educationist wife in whose symbolic shadow Mercyland International Schools stand today joined the struggle aimed at eradicating illiteracy in our society. Their momentous decision has come as a great beacon light of hope to thousands of children, parents, families, who are in quest of good, standard education.

We became the first school in the state to win the competition for three consecutive years, it will be recalled that we represented Ogun State at the National level last year and we won the second position out of 30 schools and Abuja that took part.
From 6th-10thJan,2012, our student Ogundimu Adeoye represented Nigeria in an academic programme organized for a carefully selected gifted children in Africa. The programme was held in Uganda.
Again out of the available 5 slots for Nigeria, Mercyland has won 2 slots to fly Nigeria’s in the African gifted foundation academic programme for African children coming up in Ghana in august this year.
In sports our female and male basketball teams won 3rdposition in their respective categories of this year’s Milo basketball tournament. On the other hand, our relay team brought home many 1stposition prizes.
In dictionary drills, impromptu speeches, debate, song ministrations etc., we have carved a niche for ourselves as a great school.

Dr (Mrs.) Anuoluwapo Ayodele Bankole (nee Soyemi) the proprietress was educated at the Baptist Girls’ College, Abeokuta and the Federal College of Education Osiele, Abeokuta where she trained as a teacher. She later attended the Ogun state University Ago Iwoye where she graduated with second class upper division in Business Administration. She did her post graduate studies at the University of Lagos where she bagged a M.sc and Ph.D in Education (Doctor of Philosophy).
She taught for a number of years at the prestigious Navy Secondary School, Abeokuta as a pioneer staff. A widely travelled woman, Dr. (Mrs.) Bankole ia Matron, Ogun State Gymnastic Association.
She is an astute and seasoned educationist. She is a lecturer at the Tai-Solarin University of Education, a High Chief of Abeokuta and awardees’ of the prestigious Purple Ball (a popular social and philanthropic organization in Nigeria), She is also the recipient of many awards amongst which are:
National Council of Women’s Society, Nigeria.
Commonwealth Youth Organization, Nigeria.
Winners Women Special Mother’s Award.
Alumni Association of Tai Solarin College of Education, Abeokuta Branch.
